Benelli Imperiale 400 Comes To India

Betting big on the retro classic bike segment, Benelli India has launched the Imperiale 400 in the Indian market at a price of INR 1.69 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The Benelli Imperiale 400 is a reinterpretation of a historical model of the Benelli-MotoBi range produced in the 1950s. The retro styling is reinforced by the round front headlight and the teardrop tank.The Royal Enfield Classic 350 rival is powered by a BS4-compliant 374cc fuel-injected single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 20.7 Bhp at 5500rpm and 29Nm at 4500rpm. The motor is mated to a 5-speed transmission.[gallery size="full" ids="12310,12312,12311"]The bike sits on a double-cradle frame. The front gets a 41mm telescopic fork while the rear gets preload-adjustable dual shock absorbers. The exhaust is finished in black with chrome inserts. The classic bike features a 300mm disc on the front with a two-piston floating caliper and a 240mm disc with single-piston caliper at the rear, with dual-channel ABS. The spoked rims have different diameters: 19" on the front end, 18" at the back, respectively mounting 110/90 and 130/80 section tubed tyres.The Benelli Imperiale 400 is available in three colour options - Red, Silver, and Black. Also, Benelli India is offering a 3-year unlimited km warranty along with a 2-year complimentary service on the Imperiale 400 as standard.[gallery size="full" ids="12314,12315"]
